WIP lineart CG for louissinclaire

I've been working on this one for... fffffffff, two years now? Not because it's terribly difficult, but rather because I'm just too lazy and uninspired. Also, I had it almost done when my computer fucked up so royally and I lost everything I had stored on it. That further killed my interest in finishing this.

So now I've finally gotten around to it, hoping that Sanzo doesn't kill me for taking this long to colour her lineart. Though I did warn her that it would take me an eternity. :'D

I've been out of practice, and it shows. Halfway through I totally lost the light source and went along with whatever.
I'm in a dire need of crits/suggestions/opinions on the way I've coloured it. You don't have to know the characters to evaluate the colouring. Pretty please~ *__* <3

I know bugger all about art, and I have no idea who that character is supposed to be, but the lack of knowledge doesn't stop me from commenting :D

I think the faces look really good - guy A looks all innocent and somewhat startled at who knows what, and his reflection looks pretty evil, it's like it is saying: 'Hur hur hur, I'll bite guy A's jugular while he's not looking!'

The background is ok, I guess, the golden frame and the purple wall kind of create the impression of the atmosphere of a gothic horror story, you know, with ghosts and stuff.

The only thing that did bother me about it is that their hair looks kind of different - the reflection guy has more of it, or it is less detailed, or something, I don't know. But maybe I'm just too critical, so don't mind me.

Ololol, I should have elaborated on the details in the original post.
The lineart was done by my friend, I'm only colouring it, so everything about the characters should be addressed to her instead. :D
But hey.

I guess you're not familiar with Yuugiou? The guy in the reflection is supposed to be the guy in my icon, Yami Bakura, and the other one is Ryou, his host. The reflection is actually an old evil spirit and when he takes over, the outer appearance of the boy changes. So they're supposed to look different. :D

I'm really only looking for crits on the actual colouring. *goes to edit post to include all this info*

I've seen like 5 episodes of Yugioh, so, no, not familiar, really. Lol, so what, did everyone in that anime have two personalities or something?

Ah, the colouring... Let's see. The hair looks really good - quite realistic, one can almost see the separate hair strands. The shirt could be a bit darker on the upper side to show the shadow from the hair, maybe? The trousers look good, instantly recognisable jeans :D Maybe a bit darker at the folds, but I don't know for sure. And I've already said what I think about the background :)

O rly? It looked like Pokemon with cards to me. Nothing against Pokemon, I loved Pokemon. When I was like 15. But not after that.
