I have been seriously failing life this entire month. I'll just stick up my nose and announce that this is a self-diagnosed post-burial depression and go with that.
This is to say, "Hi you guys! How've you been all this time?"
Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY,
sphinxofthenile!
I have nothing to account for a birthday present of any sorts so... I'll get back to you on that one later, OK? *makes puppydog eyes @ you*
In other news, I've officially given up on my NaNo novel. After returning from the burial I just felt in no shape to restart writing it even though I have the entire plot outlined and jotted down to a very twisted ending. I still want to write this piece, but then again - so it is with my epic!long fanfics.
Am I just depressed over all this or am I really doomed when it comes to finishing any multichapter fics of mine?
Personally, I vote procrastination.
And just because I feel that this is too short for a comeback entry, some sort of rambling must commence.
Recently, I got my hands on The Silmarillion and will be sitting down anytime soon to read it. Epic Tolkienesque is expected to be EPIC.
Now that Sasuke is kicking ass and taking names under the wing of Akatsuki, I'm starting to like Naruto, the manga.
Also, BLEACH is beginning to suck on an epic level the longer it goes on. It kind of lost its novelty on me just a few moments ago. You know, Kubo, there's only that far that you can go with winging it all from beginning to the end.
I hate my job. I want to get out of it not by the end of December, but right the fuck NOW, which is impossible because I have papers to write and then there's that stupid one month term that I have to work for them as a compensation.
But when I do leave, I'll have the SRS come down on them like the Powers That Be.
Some days ago I finally sat down to watch Code Geass in its entirety - start to end with no interruptions. it is EPIC and words cannot describe it.
Then again... CLAMP put a hand to it, of course it's epic. Although I'll hate them forever for announcing that Lelouch, in fact, died. I need a deus ex machina on that one, pronto. And it's best to not tell me to write one myself, as the idea is already there, but it'll never see the daylight. I don't have the dedication to finish anything I write.
Sad, but true. And possibly a reason why I'll never become an author of a literary work.
I... I want to write some Kaiba/Jou smut just for the heck of it, despite it being my Most Hated Pairing Ever. I've only recently realised that this was only due to the godless amounts of badfic written for this pair and the stupid ship name appointed for them.
That is all for now.
