Well, let's face it - most of the fangirls (esp. in YGO fandom) are young teens that are all go for shiney lovestories and ZOMG I LOVE YOU TOO!!! on the first date thingies. -_-" Either that or disgustingly written sex scenes to silence their hormones. (We've all gone through that period, let's face it.) And gay sex stories and/or rape seem to be the current fashion. >.>
Oh, I'm sure it's the disease of many fandoms with young teenager audience.
I avoid writing Sues and Stus as much as I can. Of course, they're easier to write, but the Barbies really get on anyone's nerves.
