YES. We attended the same school. She was a year younger. Even our fathers had the same name. Once, when she was sick, her data was put in my medical record. Don't know if they fixed that error. Small town = one hospital. Shit happens. I was a crazy kid - all the common kid illnesses passed me by like nobody's business. Flu barely touched me once and even that was on holiday, so no skipping school for me.
And speaking of school. We both took part in almost the same competitions, so whenever one of us got a diploma or a prize, our headmaster HAD to mention our grade lest he be met with awkward silence and cofused shuffling when neither of us could decide which one should go after it.
When I found it out (had to be in the fourth of fifth grade), it was a somewhat funny feeling. I was like, what's your father's name then? Oh, shi--- What about mother? Is she too named Elvira? No? Oh, thank God!
When I got to grade seven, we were on pretty good terms. Not BFFs (although that would've been funny), not really friends either, but good acquaintances.
