Tsuzuki was somewhere between exploding in anger, spells flying everywhere; collapsing in pathetic sobs and self-pity; and outright fainting on the spot. The source of his distress was sitting at the far end of the table. Hisoka, frozen by Tsuzuki's side, looked potentially murderous, as did Tatsumi, sitting opposite the man who seemed quite amused by all of this. He smiled charmingly, all good manners and proper bearings.
"Why," in a flat voice Tsuzuki asked finally, "are you here?"
"He has become one of us now," Tatsumi stated with obvious distaste.
"No!" Tsuzuki groaned.
"Yes," Muraki confirmed and smiled brightly.

"We'll send him to some faraway province where nothing ever happens," Tatsumi tried to reassure both Tsuzuki and Hisoka. The deathly grip on the teacup he had was the only visible sign of agitation.
Hisoka was quietly fuming in a corner and everyone in the room could feel his suffocating anger.
"Pointless," Tsuzuki groaned, hands fisted in his hair and despair on his face and in his voice. "Things always happen when he's around."
"Why is he one of us now?" Tsuzuki asked brokenly. "Why?"
Somewhere in the building Muraki sneezed loudly and grinned, well-aware of who was mentioning him.

oooh i love the description of tsuzuki's mixed feelings. i also like that he, y'know, has mixed feelings rather than just breaking down like a lot of authors like to have him react. :D

Usually he has mixed feelings, this is canon. I don't know what the other authors are drinking and I don't want to share.

it seems they're sippin' on the bitter taste of angst tears. i myself don't enjoy the flavor either. but then again it's been established i like cracky wonderland "drink me to get high off your ass to even consider all this crazy bullshit" stuff. :,D

and srsly, that's one of my favorite panels out of a manga ever. like, maybe six on my top ten.

I got sick of angst. And after I found a pairing that works so wonderfully angst-free I have the urge to write only that.

What are the other then, I wonder?

i actually like angst, but mainly because i can't really ship seishiro x subaru without it, haha. :,D but it does get annoying overwhelming, so i like crack and fluff and that's how i deal. i don't think i ship any pairings that don't have at least a tiny degree of angst. WHAT IS MY LIFE

oh dear now i have to actually consider this after i said that off-hand, haha. well let's see...
1. the panel in x where seishiro comes up behind subaru and sort of embraces him before they begin dueling on rainbow bridge.
2. that one panel in ynm with hisoka in the hot springs, showing off all his scars.
3. the panel in x where smoke/fog clears and seishiro's death is revealed.
4. the panel in sailor moon (holy shit a different fandom) where usagi puts tuxedo kamen's mask on mamoru's face and is like "how the fuck did i miss that?"
5. the panel in tb where blood drips on baby!subaru's face and he's looking up like, "red rain? the fuck is this shit?"
6. the panel in ynm with muraki sneezing. :,D
7. the panel in ynm showing hisoka's arm hanging down and bleeding.
8. the panel where's setsuka kisses seishiro in his side story.
9. the panel in kuroshitsuji where ciel's sitting on sebastian's "corpse."
10. the panel in kuroshitsuji where sebastian's squishing kitty paws with this "aaaawwwww yeaaaahhhh" expression on his face.
